C&I ASSET MANAGER – INSPIRED EVOLUTION – ABIDJAN, NIGERIA OR NAIROBI, KENYA


Inspired Evolution (http://inspiredevolution.co.za/) is a specialised investment management business with its head office in Cape Town, South Africa and regional offices in Nairobi, Abidjan, Mauritius and London. Inspired Evolution was established in 2007 and offers a dedicated team with a proven track record in leading clean energy infrastructure-type development and project finance investments, as well as energy and resource efficiency growth investments, across sub-Saharan Africa. Inspired Evolution is the investment advisor to the Evolution One and Evolution II Funds.

The Evolution II Fund established Evolution C&I with the purpose of owning and managing solar and/or hybrid commercial and industrial (“C&I”) assets in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a primary focus on West Africa. The Evolution II Fund provides equity to Evolution C&I on a project-by-project basis and the platform is in the process of raising debt. Evolution C&I owns or will own 100% of several subsidiaries at country level in West Africa.

To build such a C&I platform, Evolution C&I entered into two overarching Project Development Agreements (“PDA”) and Asset Management Agreements (“AMA”) with two independent project developers:

The PDAs and AMAs govern the development and asset management activities to be performed by ManoCap and GDS in relation to eligible C&I projects to be submitted for Evolution C&I funding.

Job Purpose

In order to support Evolution C&I growth, Evolution C&I is looking for a C&I Asset Manager. Primary purpose of the position will be as follows:
